Cancellation Policy

The trial lesson is non-refundable and non-transferable regardless of notice given. One time only per new student.1 MONTH SUBSCRIPTION
Non-refundable. The subscription runs for 1 month and expires automatically at the end of the term. No cancellation option is available. No notice required from either party at end of term.3 MONTH SUBSCRIPTION
Non-refundable. Non-cancellable during the 3 month commitment period. No exceptions. The subscription expires automatically at the end of the term. No notice required from either party at end of term.6 MONTH SUBSCRIPTION
Non-refundable. Non-cancellable during the 6 month commitment period. No exceptions. The subscription expires automatically at the end of the term. No notice required from either party at end of term.12 MONTH SUBSCRIPTION
Non-refundable. Students wishing to cancel before the end of their 12 month term must provide a minimum of 3 months written notice by email to [email protected]. No refund is issued for the notice period. The subscription ends at the conclusion of the notice period. Subscriptions do not automatically renew. Students will be contacted personally before their subscription end date to discuss continuing.MISSED LESSONS
Students are charged for all scheduled lessons regardless of attendance. Missed lessons are non-refundable. If you require more flexibility please choose a shorter commitment plan. This policy exists to protect the integrity of your reserved weekly time slot and to ensure fairness to all students.EXCEPTIONAL CIRCUMSTANCES
Brianne Curran Violin understands that serious and unforeseen life events can occur. In genuinely exceptional circumstances a request for special consideration may be submitted in writing to [email protected]. All such requests must be clearly explained in writing and will be reviewed on a strictly case by case basis entirely at the sole discretion of Brianne Curran Violin. This does not constitute an entitlement and should not be assumed to apply to general scheduling conflicts, holidays, or foreseeable changes in availability. Students who anticipate needing flexibility are strongly encouraged to choose a shorter commitment plan from the outset.TEACHER CANCELLATIONS
In the rare event the teacher needs to cancel a lesson, students will be offered a reschedule at no extra cost. If rescheduling is not possible the lesson will be refunded in full.HOLIDAY PERIODS
Brianne Curran Violin operates on a schedule of 35 teaching weeks per year. The remaining weeks of the year are designated as holiday periods. All holiday periods are published in advance and all active students are notified with a minimum of 4 weeks notice. New students will be informed of all remaining holiday periods for the current year upon signing up. Monthly fees remain consistent throughout the year as the monthly rate reflects the annual 35 week teaching schedule.CONDUCT
Brianne Curran Violin reserves the right to terminate any subscription without refund in the event of inappropriate, disrespectful or disruptive behaviour by a student or their parent or guardian.
